Oh my god I've only just watched the first 3 episodes of Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire on Disney+ and I'm already convinced it's some of the best content on that site. It's a sci-fi anthology series where independent black creators imagine futuristic African societies and stories. Looking further into the season and I'm seriously excited for some of the next episodes. Had to moviepost again eventually Saw the new Ghostbusters. It was a movie. If you love references you’ll love it. But everything was obviously made with CGI as you’d expect, and it’s weird how it STILL isn’t good enough. The textures and lighting and stuff made it look super real of course, but they still haven’t nailed the movements even remotely. It’s always way too smooth and “perfect” to feel even the slightest bit real. And, of course, Paul Rudd poking a mini Puftman still just felt like he was poking thin air. Obviously, you can’t blame them too much, because making things move like they’re truly real is just as difficult as it sounds, and I doubt the relevant animators are getting paid their fair share for another Big Name Movie Franchise sequel.
